Portage Bay Cafe arguably serves up the best french toast in Seattle. Coupled with the fresh toppings bar (with real maple syrup), it is hard to turn this place down in the mornings.
Tip: Call ahead of time to get in line for parties greater than 2. You will need to as waits are frequently more than 45 minutes during peak times. Table for one? There's a small bar counter that's available (although frequently filled, but definitely easier to get a spot).
